Harmony’s first lake is complete and the perfect backdrop for summer fun. Our residents spend summer days relaxing on the South Beach, building sandcastles, swimming, or taking advantage of the picnic tables for family gatherings. The future Beach Clubhouse will be located on the peninsula on the east side of the existing lake. This location will offer stunning views of the mountains, lake access and even more beach space for the community.

Offering an additional +/- 100 acres of refreshing, waterfront fun, Harmony’s second lake (currently under construction) will expand west from the existing lake. With this lake, a private resident-only beach will be created, along with new opportunities to build lakefront property. This lake will feature a major lakefront destination – the upcoming Village Centre, offering a mix of residential, business, and health and wellness opportunities.

Our two man-made lakes are carefully engineered for summer fun, but Harmony’s first lake also provides the community’s drinking water, which is processed in our very own advanced water treatment facility.

Construction on this multi-stage project began fall 2019, and the entire park is projected to be completed in two phases.

The ambition is to design and build something that has never been done in Calgary – a PGA-quality course reaching 7,600-8,000 yards in length. Within Harmony, a master plan has been developed to allocate land within the community for up to two easily accessible school sites.
